To serve the community by sharing the gift of music, through connecting world-class professional musicians with
students of all ages, in a lifelong study and enjoyment of music – while teaching valuable life lessons, and helping
provide exceptional music instruction to underserved youth (up to half of our enrollment).

- Teach music in Greater Austin public, charter, and private schools.
- Operate at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church at 15th and Rio Grande.
- Provide scholarships valued at over $245,000, benefiting 300+ underserved children.

We have provided over 7,000 lessons to over 300 underserved children with scholarships totaling over $245,000.

Texas Jazz & Blues Camp
Where Musical Growth Meets Inspiration
Founded in 2016, the Texas Jazz & Blues Camp is an inclusive program designed to foster both musical and personal growth. Students have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with legendary musicians and their peers in a supportive, non-competitive environment — no pre-audition required
A Beautiful Setting for Creativity
The camp is hosted on the scenic campus of Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, offering both day and future residential options.

- Don Braden
- A world-renowned jazz saxophonist and educator.
- Musical director of the Litchfield Jazz Camp & Festival in Connecticut.
- Harvard alumnus and Director of the Harvard University Jazz Combo Initiative.
- Has toured with icons like Wynton Marsalis, Freddie Hubbard, Tony Williams, Betty Carter, and Roy Haynes.

- Andre Hayward
- Jazz trombone master who has performed with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Chick Corea, and Jason Moran.
- Former professor at prestigious institutions such as New England Conservatory, NYU, UNT, and UT.
- Joe Morales
- Grammy-winning saxophonist, leading jazz educator, and founder of the Austin Jazz Club.
- With over 40 years of private teaching experience, Joe has shaped the Austin music scene and mentored countless aspiring musicians.
Blue Jazz Festival
Celebrating Jazz & Blues Excellence
Founded in 2019, the Texas Blue Jazz Festival is a premier event that brings together exceptional local and national talent. It celebrates the rich traditions of jazz and blues while showcasing the artistry of top performers who double as outstanding educators.
